HOW TO MAKE EXISTING FILE SIZE TO ZERO ON SOLARIS

Sometimes, our application log file grow faster and make your file system almost full. You already backup the file and you want make its size 0 bytes without deleted the file. Below is the command that you can use:

# cat /dev/null > file_name
